 February Newsletter

In the month following the holidays, my students have fallen easily back into the school routine.  We continue to add to our knowledge of the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes.  In addition, we have begun to learn our telephone numbers and birthdates.  They are catching on very quickly.  If you could review with them nightly, you will see how much they have learned.

We will be learning the letters J, U, and F this month.  Please continue to have your child bring something into school for the Soundbox.  They really seem to enjoy this activity and it helps them learn their letters and sounds.

Don’t forget to wear red on Valentine’s Day.  We will be having a small party to celebrate the holiday.

I wanted to say a big “Thank you” to all my parents for their continued support of our classroom and their children.  The snacks have been great and very much enjoyed by the children!
