Parent's Committee Purpose Statement

The purpose of the ICCS Parent's Committee is to minister to the school and its families by providing support by way of fundraising for parent-led school projects, hosting and organizing extra-curricular activities, such as field trips to the Pumpkin Patch, or Field Day, and promoting School spirit.

What We Did 2010-2011:

• Raised approximately $2,000 for classroom rugs and new manipulatives
• Hosted a Field Trip to the Ruffin Mill Pumpkin Patch
• Hosted Olympic Day from proceeds of fundraisers
• Hosted a Christmas Market

Books for the School Library:

We are continuing to build our library according the Core Knowledge curriculum and themes that we teach.  Donations of books are a wonderful way for families to get involved, and Scholastic book ordering can be an easy and economical way to do this.  New and gently used books are appreciated.
