October Parent Committee Meeting Notes

Thank you to all who were able to show up to our 1st meeting of the year. We were able to complete a few tasks that needed to be done.

12:35pm Meeting came to order

* The committee facilitator was introduced, Michelle Mackall (young 3's teacher).

* Discussion of the upcoming fundraiser was talked about, Original Works. Teachers will be completing projects over the next 4 weeks and the artwork will be sent home and returned by December 9th.

* Other fundraising ideas were discussed for later on in the year (Butter Braid Bread, Christmas shops). All ideas are welcome. If anyone would like to suggest an idea, please come to our next meeting with all of the information and we will bring it up for discussion.

* Upcoming events: Pumpkin Patch @ Ruffin Mill, 9:30 am.

* Assembling of Original Works packets

* Meetings: we will meet the 1st Wed of every month at 12:30 pm, location TBA

Sometimes we ask for volunteers to complete work at home and also at school. All help is appreciated. Family members and neighbors are welcome to volunteer at our functions.
